
Director of the Andrology and Endocrinology Laboratories at IVI Sevilla
Dr. González-Ravina is the Director of the Andrology and Endocrinology Laboratories at IVI Sevilla, and Associate Professor of Genetics and Reproductive Technology and Gene Therapy at the Pablo de Olavide University in Sevilla. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Sevilla in 1995, and obtained her doctorate degree “cum laude” in 2001 in Chemistry, at the Molecular Biology and Biochemistry Department of the University of Sevilla.
As a researcher, her main focus is the study of male infertility and male fertility preservation, both at clinic and basic research levels.
Dr. González-Ravina has been involved in education since her early career, teaching laboratory sessions and theoretical classes since 1995. She lectures in the Master’s Degree in Biotechnology of Assisted Human Reproduction (former doctorate degree of the Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department of University of Valencia School of Medicine) given by ADEIT since 2001. She also teaches in the Master´s Degree in Biology and Technology Applied in Assisted Human Reproduction at the European University of Madrid. Dr. González-Ravina coordinates the Clinical-Practical Workshop of Clinical Andrology at IVI Sevilla since 2006, and has given presented numerous tiemes in Seminars and Courses on seminal analysis, diagnosis of infertile man, advanced age in males and other related topics. She is also participating in three doctoral thesis (PhD) committees, one of which has already been completed as cum laude. She has been member of Scientific Committee at VIII and IX Asebir Congress in 2015 and 2017, respectively
